Danckaert (b.1965) lives and works in his native city of Antwerp, where he studied at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts (NHISK) and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASKA). He now teaches photography at the latter. Danckaert also writes on photography. His texts are published regularly in several reputed periodicals. Bert Danckaert's work is represented exclusively by Roberto Polo Gallery, Brussels.
