Marcelo Ballardin (°1981) lived in Brazil, the United States, Italy and England before settling in Belgium. His cuisine is cosmopolitan, focusing on refined culinary creations with which he surprises his guests time and time again at his Ghent-based restaurants OAK and DOOR73. With distinctive flavours and exciting combinations inspired by South American and Asian cuisine and culinary traditions, Ballardin adds a unique personal touch to his dishes.
